Course Overview
Certificate III in Irrigation Technology is a nationally accredited qualification in Australia, tailored to deliver
a multi-platform learning experience, focusing on everything Irrigation. This qualification builds upon your current level of experience within the industry and provides you with a certification as a qualified Irrigation technician. This course entails everything you need from design, installation and maintain irrigation systems in a wide range of applications.
The course is tapered to suit irrigation systems and technology in New Zealand. Irrigation NZ and Irrigation Australia are proceeding with finalisation of an AU/NZQA Trans-Tasman workforce qualification recognition.
This course includes 22 units of competency delivered over four one week blocks of training. This qualification will also require you to commit to 900 to 2400 hours of on the job supervision which accumulates over 2 years depending on level of RPL (recognition of prior learning) before entering the program.

- Reliable experience when it comes to service and consultation.
- Experience working in Agricultural, Commercial and Industrial irrigation.
Learning Outcomes
Certificate III in Irrigation Technology is designed for candidates with a minimum two years in-filed experience in the area of irrigation, who are looking to progress their career in an essential growth industry with ongoing job opportunities. Government subsidies and support for eligible students may be available. Please check with your local ITO (Industry Training Organisation).
