On 8th February 2019, Mark Tremain and Anthony Waites opened their second Think Water Hawkes Bay store location at 1203 Omahu Road, Hastings. As the 18th store to open for business in New Zealand, Think Water Hawkes Bay has set a new standard in store presentation and branding. The new building is fresh and welcoming and exhibits the enthusiasm of the Think Water brand.
Mark and Anthony seized the opportunity to increase the footprint of their existing Napier store, approximately 26km away, when a direct competitor restructured their business. The highly regarded duo has more than 30 years experience and will continue to provide the exceptional quality of service their customers have come to expect.
The store is located in a light industrial zone and surrounded by horticultural and viticultural rural areas. This new branch will be a valuable addition to the area resulting in irrigation and water management products and services without the need to travel into town.
The new store is managed by Blair Heasley, who worked with Mark and Anthony, before spending some time with a competitor. Blair is excited by this opportunity to return to Think Water and the challenge of setting up and managing the new branch.
The in-store product range is diverse, and the showroom is well stocked with Think Water Preferred Supplier brands including Solo, Puretec, Karcher, WSP, Iplex, Netafim and many others.
Many of our Preferred Suppliers were present on the opening day, sharing product demonstrations and mingling with customers. Rory Learmonth was seen slaving away on the obligatory Iplex barbeque. Thank you to all who contributed to the opening of this store in the form of product, merchandising, sponsorship and their physical presence, it was much appreciated.
