Our water management team are warm, friendly locals with a reputation of reliability. We listen to your needs and provide solutions rather than just selling another product. We care about WATER, our environment, our people and go out of our way to introduce innovative and sustainable practices.

At Think Water Gisborne our water management team receive extensive product training and support from our Preferred Suppliers and are encouraged to indulge in continued professional development. We maintain membership with New Zealand Irrigation and keep up with industry news on a regular basis.

Our team have the knowledge and experience to offer solid advice or troubleshoot your problem. We are fully backed by a comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety Plan and a thorough Quality and Environmental Management Plan.

Matt Kemp

Company Director and Operations

Matt established Think Water Gisborne in 2015, and is incredibly proud of what the team have achieved over the last few years. He is experienced in irrigation management and is responsible for the design and quoting of custom-built pump systems.

Michael Stevens

Operations Manager

Michael joined us in mid-2018. He is a qualified mechanic by trade with 12 years of industry experience. Michael uses his extensive technical skills to troubleshoot, service and install irrigation systems.

Mark Tomlinson

Irrigation Technician

Mark has more than 30 years of experience in the industry and brings a wealth of knowledge to Think Water Gisborne. He is responsible for service work including (but not limited to) Karcher, residential pumps and filtration systems and enjoys the variety the job brings.

Clint Cousins

Irrigation Technician

Clint has 10 years of experience as an Arborist and responsible for installation and maintenance of irrigation, pumps, filtration and water treatment. Clint’s knowledge in Health and Safety is an asset to the business. He is proud of the huge amount of experience and knowledge he has learned at Think Water Gisborne.

Oliver Shivnan


Oliver is new to the industry and has been employed in a full-time labour role. He is a key player in the team and his duties include general irrigation work and assisting the rest of the team.
