Water Filtration Cartridges are the key component of any water filtration system. Filter Cartridges come in many different types but are designed to remove particles and impurities from the water and retain them within the cartridge. Different cartridges will use different materials to achieve the desired purification. Water filter cartridges should be changed roughly every 6 months.

Finally, as a 1st stage filtration, Davey offers a Microlene Poly Pleated Sediment Filter Cartridge. These cartridges are perfect to use in a dual cartridge system as they remove large sediment, rust and algae that would degrade a finer carbon filter cartridge.
Puretec has a range of water filter cartridges to suit all applications. As an example, the Puretec EC95 is an Extruded Carbon Large Diameter Cartridge that is capable of filtering large volumes of water to a 0.5 Micron Rating, reducing unwanted chlorine, bad tastes and odours.
