At Think Water Taupo we believe our people are the core strength of our business and consider them as part of our family. Our water management team are continually trained by industry experts and have the knowledge and experience to offer solid advice, provide services or troubleshoot your problem.
We actively keep track of the skills and qualifications required by our team and maintain registered induction and training in a variety of areas suitable for our work. We are compliant for working at heights, confined spaces, dangerous goods, cranes, rigging and trenching to name a few. Our staff maintain safety standards at all times and are fully capable of delivering your project in the safest manner possible.
We love water! Innovative and sustainable water management is our passion. We maintain membership with Irrigation New Zealand and other industry bodies to keep up with industry news and events.
The Think Water Taupo team have a wide level of expertise giving them the capacity to take on the day to day water-related issues as well as the interesting projects in the Taupo region.
Ryan Wood
Director/Project Manager
Ryan is an automotive engineer, with extensive knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems developed from years of experience working around the world in the mining, marine, railway and construction industries. Ryan has been involved with all types of water reticulation systems from the design process to installation and commission. Ryan has gained accreditation with unlimited crane/rigging work.
Ryan has the ability to manage projects steps ahead of the current work in progress, this gives the added advantage of fine-tuning any issues that can be seen prior to the field crew experiencing them.
Vanessa Mitchell
Director / Business Manager
Vanessa has been in the education sector for 20 years in both teaching roles and business management. Her organisation and people skills have developed systems in which the sector have adapted to everyday procedures, her attention to detail allows all members within the area she managed to follow the steps required to implement the new systems with ease, her love for the Human Resources and Health & Safety will ensure our clients can feel confident with the service and support that we offer.
Simon Mitchell
Service Manager
Simon is an automotive engineer with extensive knowledge of water reticulating systems, including pumping, filtration, and hydraulic aspects. Simon has a background in drilling and engineering. Simon has extensive field knowledge in ductile iron fittings where we have installed these into areas of domestic/industrial and geothermal water reticulation systems.
Vanessa Bewley
Branch Manager
Vanessa has 15 years of retail experience in the dairy and water industry as well as Business Administration in Accounts Payable and Receivable. She has extensive knowledge of the products and services that we offer and is committed to working with our suppliers to be able to provide our clients with the best products and solutions.
Brady Sloss
Service Technician
Brady has been our Head Water Reticulation site foreman for the last three years. In this role, he has led geothermal, agricultural and industrial pipe systems including carbon steel pipework to all forms of PE / PVC piping systems in the field. Brady has extensive knowledge in the products used and has built a relationship with suppliers in regard to technical issues and logistics where time constraints and supply has been a factor. His management in these filed contribute to the smooth running of the project he is involved in.
Jesse Potini
Service Technician
Jesse is a qualified Service Technician in the electrical trade and has 12 years of experience. He has recently joined our team and offers expertise in electrical aspects. He is a keen learner and is enjoying the diversity of the work that we complete.
Shea Thomas
Service Technician
Shea has 16 years of experience in mechanical and engineering heavy fabrication. He has been able to utilise his mechanical savvy mind to service, install and maintain milking machines, irrigation, pumping, water treatment and filtration systems.
Jessica Mobberley
Administration
Jessica has been in Administration roles for six years and has recently completed a Diploma in Business Administration. She has experience with numerous companies in customer services roles and has been in the dairy and water industry for nearly three years.
