Cheryl receives her award from former winner Donna Davey at the Think Water Awards Night.

Whilst being a successful business owner, wife and Mum of three, Cheryl spends what is left of her time giving back to the community. She is heavily involved with The House of Science Organisation where she encourages and inspires young New Zealanders’ to learn about Science.

As a Think Water sustainability advocate, Cheryl adopts a paperless business stance and was one of the first stores to replace plastic bags with used boxes for packaging of in-store sales.

Supported by Hunter Industries, Cheryl will be attending the SiteOne: 2020 Women in the Green Industry Conference in America later this year.

Cheryl Clarke and her husband Phillip started Think Water Cambridge (NZ) in 2010 and after finding success opened their second shop in Whitianga in 2018 to satisfy the niche market in the coastal town.

We congratulate Cheryl on receiving 2019 Think Water Business Woman of the Year and wish her all the best with her business adventures and encourage her to continue the great work she does with sustainability and the education of young New Zealanders.
